Septiara Putri, SKM, MPH

Ms. Putri is recently took a position as junior lecturer at Health Administration and Policy Department, School of Public Health Universitas Indonesia. She is also a research associate of Center for Health Economics and Policy Studies (CHEPS), she started her early career as junior researcher since 2015. Prior to this, she obtained her first degree in public health at Universitas Indonesia.

She finished Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from University of Glasgow, UK where she was awarded as student best research project in 2014, with dissertation that particularly focused on health economics and health technology assessment area. Ms. Putri has interest and expertise on economic evaluation, and decision analytic models particularly for non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

She also has more general interests in epidemiological and statistical approach for national surveillance system on infectious disease. In addition, she spent several times at Ministry of Health for Indonesia Health Technology Assessment where she can applying her expertise and learn further about national health policies and strategies related health interventions. At university level, she involves various health economics research projects, mostly for chronic diseases. As junior researcher, she is very eager to improve and gain more knowledge as well as new skills in terms of broader health economics topics.
