Prof. Dr. Ede Surya Darmawan, SKM, MDM

Is a lecturer on Health Administration and Policy at FPH Universtas Indonesia. He has a deep interest in Public Health Sciences on various projects and research. From 2000-2003 he has been the country representative for Islamic Relief Worldwide, a collaboration from the UK and Indonesia. He also served as the program coordinator during that period. In 2001, he became a lecturer at University Indonesia.

Darmawan has served as the leader and also a manager in several institutions within the government and society. He has worked in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Director General of Regional Development, and also health NGOs. On the side, he also built his own social service “Mitra Madani” which focused on community empowerment and development.
